Royal Mail services currently suspended
Due to low staffing, we have unfortunately been forced to temporarily suspend all Royal Mail services. This means some products will not be available for purchase as they are shipped from a Royal Mail-only facility. Hermes and United States services are unaffected. All Altruist products are available via Hermes shipping.
Royal Mail 2nd class and Hermes 48 hour (tracked) delivery is charged at a flat cost of £3.50 per order, and is FREE for all UK orders over £35. This is applied automatically.
1st class is also available at a flat cost of £4.50. Hermes 24 hour (tracked) is available for £5.
Packages are generally dispatched within 24-48 hours after receipt of your order.
Delivery fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. We advise you to group your items in one order, as shipping charges apply separately to each order.
We are currently dispatching orders within our usual timeframes, however please note that deliveries may take a little longer than usual due to coronavirus and Brexit-related service disruptions (particularly applicable to international orders)
We also ship orders internationally. Please note that our free delivery offer does not apply, and delivery is priced based on the weight of your total order.
Orders are shipped to the USA via the United States Postal Service, which is a fully tracked service. For all other international orders, we offer Royal Mail untracked and tracked options.
We can accept orders up to 2kg in weight online. For orders to the USA & Canada, we can accept orders up to 10kg online. For orders larger than these weights, please call or e-mail us (tel: +44 7557 021693, firstname.lastname@example.org).
Please also note that you will be liable for any import taxies/duties levied via the courier company (although most of our products do not carry any customs liabilities in most countries).
Returns & Refunds
We hope you will be delighted with your order. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we are happy to offer a refund, if unopened or a replacement for faulty products.
Goods can be returned within 7 days of arrival, in their original condition and packaging in which they arrived, along with a copy of the invoice or packing slip.
To return an item, please e-mail us at email@example.com, making sure to include your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to return. We will provide you with an address to return your items, and suggest you keep proof of postage or use a tracked service.
Please note that all returned goods will be examined upon receipt and for hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer a refund or replacement on any opened or used goods. We will process your return as quickly as possible and notify you by email once your refund or replacement has been processed.
Refunds for Refused Deliveries
You are welcome to refuse delivery of any order. Once the parcel has been returned to us by the courier/Royal Mail, we will refund your order in full, excluding any delivery charges. Please note that for refused orders where free delivery has been applied, we will deduct a £3 delivery fee from the refund.
Royal Mail Scams
Please be vigilant for scam e-mails purporting to be from Royal Mail. All our shipments are fully paid up by us before dispatch, and you should NEVER be asked to pay any additional fees to have your items delivered (apart from Customs-related fees that may be applicable to international orders only).
